I have been writing about music, audio, and technology since 1977. My books have been standard textbooks in college-level courses, and my articles and columns have been read by tens of thousands of music and audio professionals (here's a more or less complete list of my published articles). My user manuals for music and audio software and hardware products have received rave reviews from many publications, as well as users.
My columns for Mix magazine were anthologized in 2007 into The Insider Audio Bathroom Reader, published by Thomson Course PTR. The company was merged into Cengage shortly thereafter, and the book went out of print. It is still available online, but used copies are getting rather expensive.
